Middle Fork of the Salmon River

Every year, Laurie Lewis and Tom Rozum take some time away from road trips to make at least one river trip.

In the past, we've traveled the Rio Grande through Big Bend and the Taos Box, wound down the Salt River in Arizona, the Chama in Northern New Mexico, Oregon's Rogue, the Middle Fork of the Salmon in Idaho, and Northern California's Tuolumne.

Tom Rozum and I will be spending six days on the Middle Fork of the Salmon River in Idaho next summer. The Middle Fork is considered the "Champagne of Whitewater Rafting." Noted for its generally crystal-clear waters, abundant wildlife sightings, hot springs, fishing opportunities, and excellent campsites, this six-day, five-night trip is not to be missed. If you have been contemplating joining us on a trip for years, this is the one! If you have been on our trips in the past, we welcome you back.

I'm in Love With a River Guide

On all their river trips, Laurie and Tom play music around the camps in the evening, while the guides are making delicious dinners for us. We often play on late into the night, and sometimes are joined by other musicians (you, if you come).
